Blue's Canoe Livery is a campground or RV park located in Edinburgh.
Blue's Canoe Livery is an outdoor recreation center that provides canoe, kayak and raft trips on the beautiful Driftwood River flowing through central southern Indiana. While paddlesports are the "main event," we also offer camping. Our most popular river trips flow through a secluded state wildlife preserve and a part of Camp Atterbury wilderness area. This section of river is alive with deer, beaver, great blue heron, osprey, wild turkey and excellent smallmouth bass fishing. There are occasional mild rapids for added excitement. We have more than enough canoes and kayaks to oufit several large groups. Overnight camping is available and many of our guests take advantage of our shelter house for picnics. We provide an eight minute instruction/safety video and additional advice and instruction at your request. We are located about 40 miles south of Indianapolis, Indiana and just north of the I-65 and US-31 interchange. If you are traveling I-65, take exit #76B onto US-31 north. Turn left at the Marathon service station, across from the outlet shopping mall. Follow the access road left or south 1/2 mile. From Nashville, Indiana in Brown County, take SR 46 East to I-65, then north to exit 76B (about a 30 minute drive).
Places to eat within 10km of Blue's Canoe Livery include Johnny Carino's Italian, Garcia's Mexican Restaurant located at 3932 25th Street, Red Lobster, Sunset Bar & Grill, and Columbus Bar.
Nearby accommodations include Explore Brown County located at 2620 Valley Branch Road, White Rock Park, The Inn At Irwin Gardens approximately 7.4 km away, Super 8 Columbus, and Econo Lodge Shelbyville.
