Our newly constructed 10 acre park backs up to 40 acres of Federal Land. Irons is located in the northern part of Lake County which connects to Manistee, Mason and Wexford Counties and includes many lakes, rivers and streams. The famous Pine River, Big and Little Manistee Rivers, Pere Marquette River, Tippy Dam and Tippy Dam Pond known better as the backwaters are the major waterways. The Big Manistee River is one of the top fishing rivers in the nation for Coho, Steelhead, Trout and Perch.
