Posh Primitive is a campground or RV park located in Chestertown.

After designing and building spaces and places in the Adirondacks for two decades, we are ready to share our passion for the outdoors and adventure with the opening of Posh Primitive. Posh Primitive has custom made, log-embellished canvas wall tents for guests each with a hand-crafted timber bed platform and queen-size mattresses. There are fresh linens, comforters and classic Pendelton wool blankets. The tents have antiques and rustic furnishings made by local craftspeople that provide organic utilitarian aesthetic. Each canvas cabin has an easy to use woodstove and all sites are stocked with seasoned firewood for stoves and outdoor fires. The best in basics, not too much, more than enough.
