Allegheny River Island Wilderness Area is a campground or RV park located in Tionesta.

Seven islands in the Allegheny River, totaling 368 acres, are part of this Wilderness. All are of alluvial origin, which means they were formed by water-carried deposits of sand, mud, and clay. The islands are located between Buckaloons Recreation Area and Tionesta. Camping is permissible on all of the islands unless otherwise posted.
