Gauley River Wild & Woolly Primitive Campground is a campground or RV park located in Summersville.

We want to make your camping trip as easy as possible so we provide some amenities to keep you from packing a lot of needed gear. Don't bring eggs! You can pre-order farm fresh eggs for just $3/dozen. Park-style grills, fire pit grills and camping cookstoves, pots, pans and utensils are provided for you. You are, of course, welcome to bring your own small portable grill. We've got a shelter with tables and camping chairs you can use. Hot and cold water is available. Clean Portajohns are provided as well as a "to die for" hot water shower! And your first load of firewood is FREE! We'll even through in some charcoal.
