Moore Outdoors Canoe and Raft Rental on the Big Piney Creek opened in 1978. Owned by Kerry and Debbie Moore, and operated by Kerry, Debbie, Nash, and Marika Moore, the business started out with 5 canoes and has grown to a fleet of 35 tandem canoes, 3 solo canoes, sit-on-top kayaks, and 9 whitewater rafts. Moore Outdoors is located on Long Pool Road, only 5 miles from Long Pool Campground. The outdoor store carries whitewater accessories such as Seda and Extrasport lifejackets, Northwest River Supply products, dry bags, paddles, helmets, and various designs of t-shirts. We also carry picnic supplies, groceries, sandwiches, drinks, ice, and gas. We sell new and used boats, lifejackets, and paddles. We can special order what we don't have! Stop by and see the whitewater pictures gathered over the years and displayed on the "wall of fame". You just might see someone you know!
