Located just 5 miles from Capitol Reef National Park, we offer comfortable and affordable camping and lodging. On sale are handmade stone and antler jewelery made by myself, Donna Sall, as well as beautiful custom log beds, handrails, and a variety of furniture made by my husband, Duane Platt. On the premises is a beautiful labyrinth, horse shoe pits and a covered pavilion for family reunions or for anyone to enjoy. We have two large group areas for tents and then some private areas for tents. Picnic tables and fire pits are also all over the campground. Our log cabins are clean and linens are included. There is a double bed and a bunk bed in each cabin. We have 1.5 acres fenced for horses that is seperated into 3 sections and have plenty of fresh water for them. There is also a round coral if needed. Sandcreek RV Park is the closest RV Park to the Great Western Trail on Thousand Lake Mountain. You can access the trail less than 1/4 mile away and you don't have to ride out on Hwy. 24. Thousand Lake Mountain has marked trails everywhere. This is perfect for ATV's, motorcycles, mountain bikes, horses and hikers. Our location makes it convenient for everyone. We are pet friendly as long as you pick up after your furry friends.
